Pilling Fall 2015 Session

I always enjoy photographing Nick, Jessica & their adorable dog Boston each year, sometimes twice a year :) We had perfect weather, I couldn't ask for a better day especially at Ledges! It is such a beautiful location & during the week it wasn't as busy.
I love when a get a photograph that is "in the moment" that shows real happieness & laughter. I got that while Boston was suppose to give Jessica a kiss, but instead gave nick several :) Thanks again for letting me photograph your session! Enjoy your sneak peak!

I'm Getting Married! {Our Engagement Session}

 

 

Its not everyday I photograph myself, let alone edit photographs of myself! Thanks to a friend of mine, Dane & I were able to get a fall engagement session done at Ledges(Where he purposed in August). I set up the camera, positioned Dane & I, & left pushing the shutter button up to Michelle. I have enjoyed all of the wedding planning this far; from the venue to saying "yes" to the dress! I can't wait to say "I do" on September 10, 2016 to the guy who has always gone above & beyond for me! My dream wedding is finally happening at Okoboji, IA!

Alyssa & Jared's Engagement Sneak Peak

I had the honor of meeting & photographing Alyssa & Jared after only communicating via email since they are both living in another state.
They met while attending Iowa State, so we did the engagement session on campus which is so beautiful this time of year! We actually had a perfect day with perfect weather!
I enjoyed hearing how they met & how Jared purposed, they were defiantly a fun & outgoing couple & I can't wait to photograph their wedding May, 2016. Thanks again Alyssa & Jared for letting me photograph such a special time in your lives!

Nicholas "I do" Sneak Peak

 

I had the honor of photographing David & Jennifer's wedding at Toad Valley. I had never been to this location, but I must say it was an absolutely beautiful location for an outdoor wedding & photographing a wedding! I think I could have kept photographing these two all day there.
I feel like this was one of the first weddings I was able to get a lot more detail photographs(which I am in love with all of them). Jennifer had a gorgeous wedding gown with such amazing detail & beautiful flowers with succulents.
I can't say I have ever photographed a wedding before where the groomsmen come prepared with props, but I loved it! David had worn me at our meeting earlier that week, but it was a lot of fun & they were defiantly a fun group all together to photograph. I had a very difficult time choosing just a few images so enjoy & be sure to share with your friends and family! Congratulations again David & Jennifer, thanks for choosing me to photograph your beautiful wedding day!

Maxwell's Newborn Sneak Peak

Meet Maxwell!!This was the first newborn session I have had where the baby didn't want to sleep.It made it challenging however I still got some great photographs of him.  He is just so adorable & I can't wait to watch him grow as I photograph him in the future! Congratulations again Lora & Gary on your handsome little guy!

Andi's Baby Bump

Andi asked if I would come to Cedar Falls to photograph her maternity session & I couldn't be more excited! It was a perfect day for some outdoor photographs & I am use to the area & wanted to get some great photographs by my favorite tree :)
Andi has a lot more patience than I do, I can't to find out if the baby is a boy or girl!! Congratulations Trent & Andi, you will make amazing parents!
