Ally & Connor's Engagement Sneak Peak

I had the honor of photographing Ally & Connor's engagement session around Ally's parents house which was beautiful! I love photographing in new locations, because there is always more opportunities. It was a beautiful sunny Fall day which made for some challenges but beautiful images. Ally had several great ideas & props to use for the engagement session, which I loved! Christian's Senior Sneak Peak

I had the honor of photographing Christian's Senior Session in my hometown Humboldt a couple weekends ago. It was a cold & windy day, but I was glad when the sun did make an appearance to warm all of us up! I love photographing in Fall because it is such a beautiful season but you can't always rely on the weather. Christian was pretty laid back and was up for anything I had in mind which made a couple neat sport photographs & tolerated the cold afternoon. Enjoy the sneak peak!

Olson Family Sneak Peak

I had the honor of photographing Kelsey & her two adorable children a couple weekends ago in my hometown Humboldt. It was a chilly morning, but the Fall colors were so beautiful it was totally worth it! I was excited to photograph her adorable family since I had photographed Riley once before when he was just a newborn. You wouldn't be able to tell that Riley didn't want to get his photograph taken from this sneak peak, but I got some amazing photographs that are price-less. Alicia & Cory's Engagement Sneak Peak

I had the honor of photographing Alicia & Cory's Engagement Session around Des Moines. I have known Cory for several years & was looking forward to meeting Alicia, as well as getting to know her. Surprisingly it was difficult to find some falll trees, most lost their leaves already or were still green which was unlike the Ames area.
I could instantly feel the chemistry between Alicia & Cory & loved how Alicia laughed in most of the photographs. I love being able to capture their true personality & I feel like laughter is one of the greatest signs of happiness. We had a beautiful day full of sunshine & warmth which is unpredictable in October.
Congratulations again Alicia & Cory, I can't wait for your wedding in 2015!

Pilling Fall 2041 Sneak Peak

 

 

I LOVE photographing Nick & Jessica each year if not twice a year, they are AWESOME! I was glad they decided to travel to Boone to have their session at Ledges, since it is such a beautiful location especially in the Fall. They always have such cute clothing & great ideas"such as the pumpkin, how cute is that?!" I always look forward to not only photographing the couple but catching up on what is going on in their lives. Boston has warmed up to me over the past years as she was eager to greet me. She couldn't resist but get a "selfie" during the session. I couldn't wait to upload this session because I knew the colors of the leaves were amazing.
