I had the honor of photographing Ally
& Connor's engagement session around Ally's parents house which was
beautiful! I love photographing in new locations, because there is
always more opportunities. It was a beautiful sunny Fall day which made
for some challenges but beautiful images. Ally had several great ideas
& props to use for the engagement session, which I loved! It was
one of the cutest engagement sessions I have done this year & there
was lot of laughter which I was able to capture :) Thank you for

I had the honor of photographing
Christian's Senior Session in my hometown Humboldt a couple weekends
ago. It was a cold & windy day, but I was glad when the sun did
make an appearance to warm all of us up! I love photographing in Fall
because it is such a beautiful season but you can't always rely on the
weather. Christian was pretty laid back and was up for anything I had
in mind which made a couple neat sport photographs & tolerated the
cold afternoon. Enjoy the sneak peak!
I had the honor of photographing Kelsey
& her two adorable children a couple weekends ago in my hometown
Humboldt. It was a chilly morning, but the Fall colors were so
beautiful it was totally worth it! I was excited to photograph her
adorable family since I had photographed Riley once before when he was
just a newborn. You wouldn't be able to tell that Riley didn't want to
get his photograph taken from this sneak peak, but I got some amazing
photographs that are price-less. You have a beautiful family Kelsey,
thanks again for letting me photograph your Family session this Fall,

I had the honor of photographing Alicia
& Cory's Engagement Session around Des Moines. I have known Cory
for several years & was looking forward to meeting Alicia, as well
as getting to know her. Surprisingly it was difficult to find some
falll trees, most lost their leaves already or were still green which
was unlike the Ames area.
I could instantly feel the chemistry
between Alicia & Cory & loved how Alicia laughed in most of the
photographs. I love being able to capture their true personality & I
feel like laughter is one of the greatest signs of happiness. We had a
beautiful day full of sunshine & warmth which is unpredictable in
October.
Congratulations again Alicia & Cory, I can't wait for your wedding in 2015!
I LOVE photographing Nick & Jessica
each year if not twice a year, they are AWESOME! I was glad they
decided to travel to Boone to have their session at Ledges, since it is
such a beautiful location especially in the Fall. They always have such
cute clothing & great ideas"such as the pumpkin, how cute is
that?!" I always look forward to not only photographing the couple but
catching up on what is going on in their lives. Boston has warmed up to
me over the past years as she was eager to greet me. She couldn't
resist but get a "selfie" during the session. I couldn't wait to upload
this session because I knew the colors of the leaves were amazing.

I had the honor of photographing Ned
& Jacque's wedding at the Snus Hill Winery in Madrid, IA this Fall.
It was a beautiful day, I couldn't ask for better weather in September
for an outside wedding! They did such a great job decorating the
location outside & inside, it was simply amazing.
I was able to
get some great photographs from the ceremony since I had more room to
walk around instead of just staying behind the couple with the rest of
the guest. I enjoyed getting to know Ned & Jacque more during their
engagement session & loved photographing such an important day in
their lives. Congratulations Ned & Jacque!
I had the honor of photographing Lisa
& Ben's Engagement session around Ledges in Boone, IA. I always love
photographing around that area because it is simply beautiful! I was
glad they decided to make the travel to Boone for their engagement
session, because I knew the location & it would be something
different for them. We had such beautiful weather which seems to be a
trend for my session this year!
Lisa was the Maid of Honor in a
wedding I had photographed earlier in the summer & shortly after got
engaged. I enjoyed getting to the know Lisa & Ben during the
session & I am looking forward to photographing their wedding in
2015! Congratulations again Lisa & Ben!
Congratulations to Ryan & Emily on
becoming new parents! I had the honor of traveling to their home to
photograph their precious baby girl Mya. I love photographing newborns
& Children because they are so adorable & fun! I mean what is
cuter than a newborns yawn? Its a precious moment & I enjoy every
second of these sessions. A huge thank you to B. Snuggled
for creating more adorable hats/baby diapers for me to use during my
sessions! She is a talented lady & I am honored that I am able to
work with her and showcase her work!

Can you say ADORBALE!? Gosh I can't get
over how handsome Brayden is. I enjoyed photographing Brayden's 1 Year
Old Session at Ledges in Boone, IA. It was a perfect Sunday with great
weather & I simply love photographing at Ledges.
I have
watched Brayden grow up to be the handsome little man he is today & I
can't wait to keep photographing him as he continues to grow.

I had the honor of photographing Jake
& Angela's Wedding in Winterset, IA. It was my first outdoor wedding
of the season & it was the "perfect" day! I couldn't ask for better
weather; it was sunny, little wind, & great temperature. The
ceremony was at a beautiful historical location with several different
gorgeous buildings that we were able to take photographs by.
Angela made all of the decorations at the reception which turned out
STUNNING! I was able to get some great PJ photographs of their rings
& decorations while the girls were getting ready & loved being
able to use my scrabble letters.
I first met Jake & Angela
during supper while we discussed wedding packages & just getting to
know each other a little bit better. I enjoyed getting to know this
amazing couple who has so much love for each other, their friends, &
family. Congratulations again Jake & Angela, thanks for letting me
capture this special day!
I had the honor of photographing Megan
& Paul's engagement session around Ada Hayden in Ames & her
parents Farm in Indianola a couple weekends ago. I work with Paul at
Fareway & I was excited to finally meet Megan. They were so much
fun to photograph & had great chemistry which really showed through
their photographs. It was a beautiful day & I enjoyed trying some
new ideas which turned out awesome! Megan & Paul brought their
photogenic dog Mavrik to the session who was awesome! I love being able
to include pets into couples/family sessions. There were so many great
photographs to choose from it was hard to just pick a few, I wish I
could share them all with you. I can't wait to photograph this adorable
fun couple next year! Congratulations again Megan & Paul!
I had the honor to photograph Stephen
& Emily's wedding in Storm Lake a couple weekends ago. It was a
beautiful location for a wedding with several outdoor opportunities
which made for some great photographs! It seems like the weather always
has to sprinkle a little each wedding I have photographed this summer,
but at least its just a few sprinkles, because otherwise it was a
beautiful afternoon. I got some awesome black & white "ring"
photographs. Thanks for letting me photograph this special day in your

I had the honor of photographing Toni
& Dustin's wedding a couple weekends ago in Zearing, IA. I had a
great time getting to know the couple during their engagement session
this past Winter. It was a beautiful day for their wedding, I couldn't
ask for better weather! The church also had an amazing area for
photography with some great lighting. I love all the lines that lead you
into the couple. Toni & Dustin had a fun wedding party with made
for some fun & creative photographs. Thanks for letting me
