Pilling Fall Session 2012 Sneak Peak

I had the honor of photographing Nick, Jessica & Boston again this Fall. This would be my third time photographing this couple, and Jessica always has some great ideas she wants to try, which always turn out amazing! I always enjoy photographing this couple because they are so fun & relaxed. Nick & Jessica always do a great job with their clothing selections, as they always look great. This was my first time photographing them in Clive instead of Ames which was a nice scenery change. They had picked out some great locations around the Des Moines Area. Thanks again for letting me photograph your family, &I am hoping for some snow this year for a Winter Session!

Dave + Abby

   

I had the honor of photographing Abby & Dave's Engagement Session a couple weekends ago. I got to know the two of them & spend time with them earlier in September while on a vacation in Las Vegas, so I was excited when Abby had asked me to photograph their Engagement Session. I enjoyed this session as it was a beautiful Fall morning, & the location they picked was great! It was a little brisk, but I couldn't have asked for a better morning this time of year. I was excited that they wanted to have Whiskey in their session as he is an adorable dog & was obedient as well. Abby & Dave were a fun & easy going couple which made the session relaxed. Congratulations Abby & Dave!

Eric + Melanie

  

 

I had the honor of photographing Melanie & Eric's Engagement Session this Fall.  I have been close friends with the couple for a couple years now, & was excited to share this moment with them.  We traveled to Clear Lake for session since Eric is from there, & Melanie lives close.  During the session I had learned that their first date was by the lake, which made it all the more meaningful.  Melanie &Eric were so much fun to photograph as they were so natural in front of the camera and had fun throughout the session.  They have recently asked me to photograph their Destination Wedding in May which I am excited about! Congratulations Melanie & Eric.

Weets Wedding Sneak Peak

  

 

I had the honor of photographing Kristin & Darren after their Wedding Ceremony for a few hours. It was my first time only photographing after the Ceremony and before the Reception which put a time limit, but it was very relaxed with this couple which made it great.  They wanted to keep things simple and it worked for them.  It was a beautiful Fall day which was nice so I was able to get some great photographs of the couple outside the church as well. Potts Wedding Sneak Peak

 

I had known Laura through working at Fareway the past couple years,& was honored when she had asked me to photograph her wedding. This wedding was different from any other wedding I have photographed as, Laura & Joey didn't see each other until Laura walked down the isle. It was a challenge, but it made that moment all the more special for the couple! It was one of the most beautiful and touching ceremonies I have photographed, as Joey is in the Service and was gone through all of the planning. Congratulations again Laura & Joey!
